Three Pines Press strives to make the publishing process easy, swift, and unbureaucratic. In comparison to established presses, we offer:
- editors versed in the field
- priority placed on Daoism
- Chinese characters
- author's copyright
- competitive royalties
- speedy processing
- personalized cover design
- efficient marketing
- distribution through University of Hawai'i Press
Any manuscript on an aspect of Daoist studies can be submitted. The only limitation is one of space: maximum page number is 250-300, double-spaced.
Before submission, contact us at email@example.com with a short description of the work. If approved, submit a full manuscript as e-mail attachment.
The editors will then produce a preliminary evaluation. If this is approved, we will send it to several readers in the field for further comments. Decision to publish will depend on the outcome of all evaluations.
The process after acceptance is standard: contract, revisions, copyediting, typesetting, cover design, and publication. The time from receipt of the revised manuscript to publication should be no more than six months.
